1. About retane

retane helps you create study cards from text and learn through reviews and study statistics. Available features depend on your plan and platform.

2. Accounts and study data

You can start with an anonymous account and link it to Google. Linking Google to your anonymous account preserves your user ID.

Losing device or browser data while using an anonymous account may prevent recovery of your account and study data. Use account linking and backups, and keep your sign-in information and exported files secure.

3. Your content and acceptable use

Only submit text, images and audio that you have the right to use and share. Take care with other people's personal information and confidential material.

Unlawful activity, infringement of others' rights, unauthorized access, bypassing usage limits and interference with the service are prohibited.

4. AI assistance

AI features send content to external services for card creation and transcription. See the Privacy Policy for details.

AI output may be inaccurate. Check it before saving or using it. Usage limits apply to each plan, including Premium.

5. Paid plans

Check the purchase and checkout screens for prices, currencies, subscription periods and payment conditions. Premium becomes available after a successful purchase and verification of an active subscription entitlement.

Monthly and annual plans renew automatically for their respective periods unless you turn off renewal. You are responsible for internet access and other costs of your own devices and connections.

6. Cancellation, refunds and account deletion

Turn off renewal through “Manage plan” in My Page, the management link provided with your purchase, or your purchase provider's account page. Allow enough time before the provider's renewal deadline. Following an ordinary cancellation, Premium remains available until the current expiry date.

Uninstalling the app or signing out does not cancel your subscription. Contact your purchase provider or the form below about refunds, duplicate charges or purchase issues. Refund eligibility is assessed under the provider's terms and applicable law. These terms do not restrict your statutory rights.

You can delete your account from My Page. In-app deletion is currently restricted while Premium is active. You can still contact us about personal data deletion regardless of your plan. The Privacy Policy explains which data is deleted.
